1912 – 2003

CANTON – Arthur H. Bacheller, 91, died early Tuesday morning, April 22, at the Victorian Villa Nursing Home where he had resided since 1992.

He was born in Fayette on March 26, 1912, the son of Eddie F. and Flossie T. Barrows Bacheller and was educated in the Fayette schools. On June 20, 1942, he married Frances Arlene Hodson of Byron, in Fayette. She passed away on Dec. 12, 1984. He was a self-employed farmer for many years before working for Isaacson Lumber Co. in Livermore Falls.

He is survived by a son, George of Livermore Falls; and also raised Virginia Gross of Turner; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
