1952 – 2003

WEST BETHEL – Sharon Lou Carmichael, 50, of Flat Road, died at her residence unexpectedly on April 17.

She was born in Provincetown, Mass., on July 18, 1952, the daughter of Louis and Luene (Ellis) Silva. She was educated in local schools and had been a homemaker most of her life. She enjoyed her time she volunteered with Home Health Care services, was an avid hiker; loved to hunt, fish, garden, cook and care for her family.

She is survived by her mother, Luene Silva of Provincetown, Mass.; her husband of 18 years, John Carmichael of West Bethel; two daughters, Candy Lee Carmichael of West Bethel and Wahaneeka L. Viden of Harrison; one brother, Todd Silva of Provincetown, Mass.; four sisters, Marjorie Silva of Provincetown, Mass., Luene Grady of Wellfleet, Mass., Pamela Silva of Provincetown, Mass., and Jacquelyn Ellis of Barnstable, Mass.; and three grandchildren, Jacob, Deseriee and Samuel all of Harrison.

She was predeceased by a sister, Elizabeth Youngblood; and a brother, Louis Silva.
