FARMINGTON – Two Farmington roommates were arrested last week in connection with a drug bust in late December.
In that bust, authorities uncovered six ounces of marijuana, 19.6 grams of hashish, three jars of hashish oil and drug paraphernalia at the trailer owned by Nickolas Stanley, 24.
At the time, Stanley was arrested and charged with drug trafficking. He was taken to the Franklin County Detention Center where he eventually posted his $10,00 unsecured bail.
Last Thursday, Stanley was rearrested by Maine State Police Trooper Derrick Record for a misdemeanor violation of bail conditions after a routine drug test turned up that he had THC, found in both marijuana and hashish, in his bloodstream. He was again taken to the jail and posted bail later that day.
Stanley’s roommate, Ryan Nezol, 21, was indicted last week by the grand jury on a felony charge of unlawful trafficking of schedule Z drugs in relation to the December bust. A warrant for his arrest was issued and he was picked up Thursday and taken to the jail where he posted a $1,000 cash bail, Record said.
Nezol is expected to appear in court later this week.
