LIVERMORE FALLS – Monday will be the day for local senior citizens to sign up for their May 19 meal at the final meeting of the season.

The group meets at 1 p.m. at Murray Hall led by Chairman Shirley Couture. This week there were 45 members and two guests, Cecile Hathaway and Pauline Coombs, present.

The seniors voted to purchase a flag for the American Legion to place on one of the poles downtown. A $100 donation will be made to the Tri-Town Ministerium Food Cupboard from the proceeds of the auction.

It was reported that Charlie and Marie Lapointe are doing well at their apartment at Montello. Listed as ill were Mary Hamel, Irene Hebert and Lannie Roy. It was noted that Josephine Benedetto had died.

A lap quilt made by some of the talented seniors will be donated to the veterans home.

The 50/50 drawings were won by Pauline Duguay and Marilyn DeSoto.
