1942 – 2003
AUBURN – Herbert B. Fitzpatrick, 61, a resident of 272 Main St., died unexpectedly Sunday, April 27, at his residence.
Born in Houlton, Jan. 18, 1942, the son of Ronald and Bernice (McSheffrey) Fitzpatrick, he attended Houlton schools and moved to this area many years ago.
Mr. Fitzpatrick had been employed in the local shoe industry as a machinist. He enjoyed fishing, garage sales, country music, as well as dancing.
Survivors include his mother of Houlton; two sons, Richard and his wife, Brenda Fitzpatrick of Poland and Kenneth Fitzpatrick of Auburn; two daughters, Cindy Cyr and her husband, Mike of Sabattus and Tracey Fitzpatrick of Auburn; four brothers, Neal Fitzpatrick of Bangor, Gerald Fitzpatrick of North Carolina, Peter Fitzpatrick of Connecticut and Donnie Fitzpatrick of South Carolina; two sisters, Florence Lilley of Orrington and Doris Gardner of Houlton; his companion, Pauline Cornish of Lewiston; and eight grandchildren.
