1923 – 2003
LEWISTON – Dorothy P. Stevens, 80, died May 4, at Marshwood Care Facility following a brief illness.
Born in Lewiston, April 10, 1923, the daughter of Josephine and Edward Stevens, she was a graduate of Bliss Business College.
She married Lawrence A. Hall on July 18, 1941 in Auburn. She was a homemaker most of her life and enjoyed reading and taking care of her birds and fish.
Survivors include three sons, Lawrence E. Hall and his wife, Bernita of Litchfield, Steven A. Hall and his wife, Pam of Sabattus and Danny C. Hall and his companion, Billie Jo; nine daughters, Sandra J. Wormwood of San Diego, Calif., Dorothy J. Turner and husband, Carl of Sabattus, Cheryl P. Dufour and husband, Norm of Auburn, Glennis L. Frappier and husband, Maurice of Waterville, Christy A. Sanders and husband, George of Knox, Laura L. Polley and husband, Doug of Litchfield, Cindy K. Masse of Auburn, Cathy J. Pepin and companion, Tom of Knox and Jenny L. Shorey and companion, Roger of Fairfield; 36 grandchildren; and 44 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence A. Hall; and a son, David G. Hall.
The family would like to thank Sharon Bazinet for the care and treatment she gave their mother for the past six years.
