METHUEN, Mass. – Sister Jeannine (Sister Francois-de-Paul) Robitaille, 72, died Monday at the Holy Family Hospital.
Born in Lewiston, she had been living in Methuen, Mass., for the past 37 years. She entered into religious life in Hudson, N.H. in 1950. After her profession, Sister Jeannine taught elementary school in Maine, Massachusetts and Vermont.
In 1966 she studied for a nursing degree. Upon graduation, she became the head nurse at the Sisters infirmary at the Presentation of Mary in Methuen, Mass. She also worked at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen for 20 years, until she retired due to illness.
She was the daughter of Alfred Robitaille and her mother, Yvonne (Desfosses) Robitaille.
Survivors include her sister, Theresa Robitaille; and one brother, Maurice Robitaille, MD, of West Branch, Mich.
She was predeceased by her brother, Camille
