FRYEBURG – Hilda Estella Lusky, 87, of Chatham died May 10 at Fryeburg Health Care Center in Fryeburg. Hilda was born in Chatham where she lived for 80 years. She was born Oct. 2, 1915, the daughter of Olin and Glenora (McKeen) Hanscom. She graduated from Fryeburg Academy class of 1934.
Hilda enjoyed being a homemaker besides working for the old Corn Shop, doing housekeeping for several local camps, working for Henry McIntire, the builder, and many years for Hicks Nursing Home. She also was a long-time volunteer at the Gibson Center in North Conway. Hilda was a member of the Chatham Congregational Church, the Garden Club and the Historical Society.
Hilda was predeceased by her husband Frederic Lusky in 1985. She is survived by three sons Carl F. Lusky, of Center Conway, Paul A. Lusky and Olin E. Lusky, both of Stow, one sister Edna Pray of Fryeburg Harbor, 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
