AUBURN – Kevin Pontbriand was the winning pitcher and aided his cause with a single and double as Reed Paper beat East Auburn 19-3 in Senior Division baseball action. Brandon Elie sparked the offense with 4 hits. Brian Dubois and David Lutz added 3 apiece. Kyle Giguere was a repeat hitter for EA. Mike Leclair also had a hit.
Gordon’s Auto Body nipped Pacious-Rausch 4-3 in the Minor Softball Division. Bethany Fox and Cleo Miller led the offense. Morgan Edgecomb was a defensive standout. Top players for P-R were Natalie Comeau, Felicia Stewart, Maria Comeau.
South Lewiston
LEWISTON – Aroostook Fence defeated Dube Gravel in the Major Division as Ben McDonough spun a 1-hitter, allowing just 2 hits and striking out 7. Logan Rossignol collected 3 hits and 3 RBI, and Richard Paradis added 2 safeties and knocked in 3 runs. Erik Tiner had an RBI single for Dube.
