LEWISTON – Following are recent results in the Elliot Little League:

Major Division

Dustin Oberlander hurled a complete game, striking out 9, as Hannaford defeated Reed Paper 5-3. Reggie Hall and Cody Dussault had key hits. Alex Brochu ripped a pair of safeties for Reed.

Robbie Leman collected a single and triple and got the last 3 outs as Falcon Shoe knocked off Dube Flower 6-2. Winning hurler D.J. St. Pierre belted a triple and double.

Roux Insurance trimmed Rainbow Bicycle 17-3 as Joe Bonneau pitched a complete game. He, Nick Blais and Ben Sullivan all collected 3 hits, as did Nathan Parker for the Cyclists.

Minor Division

Lighting Concepts was involved in a pair of ties in recent action in the Minor Division. Concepts and Wal-Mart battled to an 8-8 deadlock. Justin Denbow got his first hit for Concepts. Bruce Soper reached base 3 times and Billy Soper twice. Forrest Chicoine led Wal-Mart. . . Concepts and Wendy’s were involved in a 6-6 tie. Devin Long had a game-tying homer in the last of the fifth for Concepts. Matt Therrien was a repeat hitter.

Caron Construction beat Poussard Construction 9-5 as Jordan Charest earned the mound win, fanning 8, and helped himself at the plate. David Cusson collected a double and single and knocked in 3 runs. Colt Steele ripped 3 singles.

Roux Insurance edged Caron Construction 2-1 as Ryan Laverdiere legged out a 2-run inside-the-park homer. Nathan Berube earned the mound win. Relief pitcher Brady Blouin struck out all 6 batters he faced. Jordan Charest whacked a double for Caron.

South Lewiston

LEWISTON – Richard Paradis earned the mound win, striking out 8, and blasted a 3-run homer as Aroostook Fence beat Gendron’s Mobile 9-5 in the Major Division.

Ben McDonough and Alex Wong collected 2 hits each. Sam Cloutier and Joey Fournier were the top sticks for Gendron.
