1927 – 2003

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. – Ruth Isabel (Caldwell) Estes, 76, a longtime Natick, Mass., resident, passed away Wednesday afternoon, June 4, at the Oak Knoll Health Center after a period of declining health.

She was the widow of Alexander Estes, who passed away in July 1987, and the mother of the late Rosemary Estes, who passed away in December 1987. Born in Auburn, she was the daughter of the late Allen and Mae (Welner) Caldwell. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Natick and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1274, Ladies Auxiliary, of Natick.

Survivors include two sons, Norman and Gordon Estes of Natick; a sister, Martha Turner of Auburn; a sister-in-law, Jean Estes; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five brothers, Sydney, Harold, Allen, Ralph and Tom Caldwell; and three sisters, Mary Caldwell, Bertha Harris and Myrtle Baron.
