WAKEFIELD, Mass. – Gertrude MacIntire, 84, of North Monmouth, formerly of Stoneham, died Monday, June 9, at a nursing home in Wakefield, Mass.
Born in Wakefield, Mass., March 6, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Albert L. and Vera A. Drew North. She was the wife of the late Harold R. MacIntire.
She was a 1936 graduate of Wakefield, Mass. High School and was a member of the Eastern Star. She had been active in scouting.
Survivors include four sons, Harold R. MacIntire Jr. of Arkansas, Stuart A. MacIntire of Andover, Mass., Douglas A. MacIntire of Tewksbury, Mass., and Ronald A. MacIntire of Indiana; two daughters, Roberta L. See of Woburn, Mass., and Marcia A. Barnaby of Monmouth; one brother, Warren A. North of Ohio; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
