AUBURN – James Bellarance, a senior at Edward Little High School, received one of the 2003 scholarships awarded by the Maine Mentoring Partnership. Gregg Lagerquist of WGME Channel 13 presented the award to Bellarance for his work as a volunteer mentor in the Child Health Center’s Big Brothers Big Sisters program. Bellarance said, “Being a mentor has taught me how to talk to kids and respect their learning styles.”
