AUBURN – Pepsi outslugged Caron’s of South Lewiston 23-13 in the Major Softball Division. Kim Lawrence, Danielle Paul and Rebecca Witten all cracked 3 hits, with Lawrence homering and Paul legging out a triple. Allyssa Levesque contributed a triple and single. Lauren Brown pitched well in her first mound appearance.
D&R Framing defeated Fontaine of South Lewiston in the Minor Softball Division as Gabrielle Hutchins and Ashlee Arnold both doubled. Kristen Whittaker added offensive support. Hutchins and Kory Norcross shared the pitching duties.
South Lewiston
LEWISTON – St. Hilaire Construction earned 2 wins in recent action in the Minor Division. Willy Desmarais and Alec Collins were the top sticks as St. Hilaire edged Don Morin Photo 9-8. Robert St. Hilaire was a defensive standout. Sam Morin and Robert Bouthot both pitched.
St. Hilaire also trimmed Androscoggin savings Bank 12-2 as Devin Bilodeau cracked 2 hits. Jordan Belsamo belted a triple.
Other hitters were Dylan Chartier and pitcher Mike St. Pierre, the latter striking out 6.
