FARMINGTON – The Sandy River Farmers’ Market will expand to include a Tuesday market beginning June 24.

The market, a local collective of farmers and food producers who sell locally grown and made products on Friday mornings on Front Street, will include a Tuesday market from 3 to 6 p.m. Vendors will include many who’ve been at the 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday market in the past and at present, as well as some new vendors who find Tuesdays more convenient. Products will include turkey, vegetables, butter, bread, herbs, flowers and crafts.

Any locally based producer of food or agricultural products who’d like to participate is invited to submit a Sandy River Farmers’ Market application, obtainable from Julia Staples at 778-3115, at the Friday market or at the Farmington Farmers’ Union.

Questions may also be directed to 779-0365 or 778-3513.
