I can’t express how thrilled I am to hear that the Dirigo Health plan will finally be enacted (June 14).
In the first year alone, this plan will bring affordable health care to tens of thousands of uninsured Mainers. I can’t compliment the governor and the Legislature enough for stepping up to the plate and fighting for the needs of Maine people.
I believe that every person is entitled to a chance at a happy, healthy life. Every individual should be able to access comprehensive, affordable health care. The Dirigo Health plan will finally make this a reality for Maine people. What a historic moment for Maine!
May Maine continue to be a shining example of compassion and human rights for the nation!
