BETHEL – “It’s A Blooming Garden of Quilts” is the theme for the 15th Annual Quilt Show presented by the Cross Country Quilters of Bethel Friday and Saturday, June 27 and 28.
This old-fashioned country quilt show, held at the 1816 Middle Intervale Meeting House, will feature antique quilts as well as new ones made by area quilters. The show will also have handmade items for sale, refreshments and a “Dahlia” quilt in 30’s type fabrics which will be raffled on the last day of the show.
There will be a donation of $4 and children under 12 are admitted free.
Proceeds from this show will be used to continue the ongoing preservation of the Middle Intervale Meeting house located on Intervale Road in Bethel. Show hours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
Anyone wishing information or interested in lending his or her quilt for the show can contact the show coordinators June Abbott, 836-2301 or Shireen Vincent, 836-2918.
