1945 – 2003

SOUTH PARIS – Everett D. Dehahn, 68, of 31 Bisco Road, South Paris died after a long courageous battle with melanoma, Friday morning, June 27, at home with his family.

He was born in Carthage, April 13, 1945, and educated in Dixfield schools. He owned and operated a lawn and garden tractor business in Brunswick and then in Oxford before he retired in 1987.

Piloting his own plane, flying became one of his greatest loves. He was an avid outdoorsman, gardener, and an active member of the First Congregational Church of South Paris.

A fondness to lend a helping hand to friends and neighbors shall be remembered. He and Helen traveled extensively and spent summers at their camp on Moosehead Lake. During a last visit to camp this June, he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his special buddy, Ian. He took great pleasure in reading.

Survivors include his wife, Helen; two daughters, Jebra D. Morris of Addison and Jayne Dehahn of Clifton; four grandchildren, Brian Dehahn of Portland, Jarah Peaslee, Jennifer Peaslee and Julia Peaslee all of Vassalboro; a great-grandchild, Caleb Peaslee of Vassalboro.
