1917 – 2003

AUBURN – Eveline C. Beaulieu, 85, a resident of 143 Mill St., Auburn, died Friday evening at her residence following a long illness.

She was born in St. Fabien, P.Q., Sept. 19, 1917, the daughter of Jean and Demerise (Bizier) Gagnon. She was the youngest of 16 children, and moved to Maine from Quebec in 1925. Her passion in life was giving to native American causes as well as other charities that supported those less fortunate in life.

Survivors include three sons, Gerard Beaulieu of Auburn, Roland Beaulieu of Lewiston, and Raymond Beaulieu of Mechanic Falls; two daughters, Jeanne Keene and Joan Warner, both of Auburn; two sisters, Justine Leblond of Lewiston, and Georgiana Jolin of St. Gedeon, P.Q.; and a niece, Delia Schriber. Also surviving are 24 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Lionel Beaulieu who died Dec. 14, 1955.
