AUBURN – The Robin Dow Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, at the American Legion Hall, Washington Street. The board of directors will meet at 10. Bingo will be played after the meeting and a bag lunch.

The group met June 25 with 59 present, under the direction of President Audrey Fleming. Birthdays for June were acknowledged. Attendance prize winners were Kay Hewison and Nancy Bosse; pot of gold winners, George Remillard, Dodo Juneau and Hope Telow.

Breast feeding

AUBURN – All interested women are invited to attend a meeting of La Leche League at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, July 10, at 102 Bennett Ave. The league offers breast feeding information and encouragement to pregnant women and new mothers.

Services include monthly meetings and 24-hour telephone help. Babies are welcome. All concerns are welcome for discussion in addition to the scheduled topic, “Breastfeeding: Great Beginnings.”

Turner outing

AUBURN – The New Auburn Seniors are planning to go to Youly’s in Turner for lunch on Wednesday, July 16. Anyone who needs a ride should meet at St. Louis Church at 10:45 a.m.

The regular meeting was held on July 2 with President Virginia Levasseur presiding. New members, Ben and Mariette Alden, were welcomed. July birthdays were noted and token gifts given.

The group is planning a luncheon trip to Julien’s in Gray in August. Details will be announced at the next meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 6.

Pot of gold winners were Irene Delorme, Howard Bussell, Jeannette Parise and Theresa Roberge. A light lunch and bingo followed the meeting.
