1906 – 2003
POLAND – Dale O. Farnsworth, 96, a resident of 417 Hardscrabble Road, died Tuesday, July 22, at the home of his caregiver’s Rhoda and Harold Merchant following a short illness.
He was born in Bernardston, Mass., Oct. 22, 1906, the son of Albert and Mary (Viall) Farnsworth. He was veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a dairy farmer all his working life.
Survivors include his loving caregivers, Rhoda and Harold Merchant as well as Rose Boisvert with whom he resided; one son, Clinton and his wife Bessie of Crystal Springs, Fla.; and four grandchildren, LaRoy, Bruce, Donna, and Dale; seven great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents, and one sister whom he cared for until their deaths.
