AUBURN – Lewiston-Auburn Community Little Theatre has hired Doreen Traynor as business manager.

Traynor is familiar with the workings of the theatre and has been connected with CLT for many years in various capacities, including costuming, box office sales, house manager, and has served on the board of directors.

She produced “Steel Magnolias” in 2002 and “Harvey” this past season. She will produce next season’s show “The Foreigner.”

A former state chairwoman for the Maine’s Junior Miss Scholarship program, Traynor comes with extensive fund raising experience. She spearheaded several successful projects at CLT.

As business manager, she has already started making changes, among them online ticket ordering at www.laclt.com. She has extended calling hours to the box office line (783-0958) to Monday through Friday. 9 a.m. to noon, in addition to regular hours.

As business manager, she will serve as box office manager, and be responsible for program advertising sales, corporate sponsors and underwriters solicitation, promotion and media coordinator for all productions, events calendar management and liaison with city hall.

Traynor lives in Lewiston with her husband, Tim, and four daughters, Katie, Erica, Alison and Haleigh.
