As a local, state, and federal taxpayer, I would like to know how paying $162,000 to $216,000 per one-bedroom apartment ($6 million to $8 million for 37 apartments) is a good use of taxpayer money at the former St. Dominic Regional High School building.
Even with the nonprofit offices and auditorium, the cost for this project cannot be practical. Would anyone except a governmental agency finance this project? I don’t think so. But with local, state and federal money available, let the checks be written. Nothing amazes me anymore.
