READING, Pa. (AP) – Buzz Hannahan and Jeff Inglin each drove in two runs in the fourth inning to lead the Reading Phillies to a 7-3 win over the Portland Sea Dogs on Wednesday in the Eastern League.
Hannahan hit a tie-breaking two-out, two-run double and Inglin followed with a two-run single to give Reading a 7-3 lead.
Reading took a 2-0 lead in the first inning on a two-run homer by Jim Deschaine, his 12th. The Phillies made it 3-0 in the second on a fielder’s choice RBI grounder by Karl Nonemaker. Portland tied it in the fourth on a bases-loaded walk to Jeremy Owens and a two-run single by Raul Nieves.
Brad Guy (3-7) pitched three perfect innings of relief to get the win. Portland starter Junior Herndon (7-7) allowed seven runs on 11 hits.

Aaron McNeal went 3-for-4 and scored two runs and Inglin had a double and single to raise his league-leading RBI total to 90 for Reading.
The Sea Dogs, who won on a ninth-inning grand slam Monday night, loaded the bases in the ninth but had their threat ended when Garry Maddox II made a diving catch of a sinking line drive in center field for the final out.
