Top 10 finalist

MINOT – Bridget Duval of Minot participated in the Sunburst USA International Finals Beauty Pageant in Atlanta, Ga., recently.

Duval was chosen as a top 10 finalist and she placed third in the talent competition, singing a Broadway tune. She is the daughter of Neil and Susan Duval of Minot. She is a sophomore at St. Dominic Regional High School in Auburn.

There were 49 contestants in the pageant’s teen division. Competitors entered from 43 states, Canada and Puerto Rico. Sunburst USA has been in existence for more than 25 years.

Car wash

LEWISTON – The Lewiston Area Youth Cheering League, a nonprofit organization, will be holding a car wash on Saturday, Aug. 30, at the Irving on Main Street.
