LOVELL – The town office will be closed to the public Mondays until further notice so the staff can catch up on regular work set aside during the tax bill mailing.

The tax bills were mailed July 14 and, according to a spokesperson, the increase of $1 per thousand of assessed value has not bothered many people.

On Aug. 1 the town also enacted the 911 system requiring some address changes.
