OXFORD – The Oxford Historical Society will meet at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, at the Kay House, 73 Pleasant St. The program will be the annual potluck supper. Those attending are to bring a dish to share. Dessert will be provided. Following the supper, two short videos will be shown. The public is invited.

Lecture planned

FRYEBURG – The Fryeburg Historical Society wil meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, at the American Legion Hall on Bradley Street. The topic will be “History of the Stone House” presented by Frank and Barbara Eastman. The society is located at 96 Main St. and operates from 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesdays, 1 to 4 p.m. Thursdays or by appointment. For more information, call Director Nancy Ray at 935-4192.

Senior luncheon

WATERFORD – The North Waterford Senior Citizens will meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 3, at the North Waterford Church. Plans for the October outing will be discussed.

Grange session

NORTH WATERFORD – A three-point meeting was held recently with West Paris Grange, North Waterford Grange and Pleasant Valley Grange of West Bethel. Pleasant Valley Grange provided the program and West Paris Grange filled the chairs.
