1936 – 2003

AUBURN – James C. Meserve, 67, of Clover Health Care Center and former1y of 116 Cook St., Auburn, went home to be with the Lord, on Wednesday, Aug. 20.

Born in Port1and, March 28, 1936, the son of Char1es E. and Caro1yn McAuliffe Meserve, he married Lorena Leger of Riley on Nov. 1, 1957.

He was a member of the American Legion of New Auburn.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Lorena of Auburn; one son, James A. Meserve of Auburn; four daughters, Anita of Alna and Kathy, Theresa and Karen of Auburn; nine grandchi1dren, Joshua J. Robinson, Rachel Smith, Sarah Robinson, Jessica Cheney, Brandon Meserve, Tina Meserve, Michae1 Ruby, Siarra Marena and Cody Meserve; four great-grandchildren, Joshua Cain Robinson, Samantha Smith, Dominique Smith and Anthony Robinson; two sisters, Arlene Plummer of East Baldwin and Janet De1k of Tennessee; and many nieces and nephews.
