GORHAM – Senior Deedra Boudreau scored the only goal of the game in the first half to give the Univeristy of Southern Maine Huskies a 1-0 field hockey victory over the Gordon College Fighting Scots Thursday afternoon.

Boudreau, camped at the left side of the goal, recieved a pass from senior Renee Heath out of a scramble in front of the net and blasted it past Gordon senior goalie Brianna Riddell.

Colby 3, Husson 0

BANGOR- Senior co-captain Injoo Han and junior Wendy Bonner each scored a goal and earned an assist for Colby in a 3-0 victory over Husson College in non-conference play Thursday.

Bonner got the only goal of the opening half off assists from Michaelyn Bortolotti.

WATERVILLE – First-year forward Chris MacFadyen scored his first collegiate goal 18 seconds into the game to spark seven-unanswered goals as Colby cruised to a 7-0 shutout over Thomas College in men’s soccer Thursday.

Junior captain Ryan Boccuzzi notched a hat trick for the White Mules (1-0).
