COLUMBUS, Ohio – Craig Krenzel hit Michael Jenkins on a 7-yard scoring pass in the third overtime and No. 3 Ohio State made a goal-line stand to beat No. 24 North Carolina State 44-38.

LOS ANGELES – Matt Leinart threw two touchdown passes and Southern California’s defense held Hawaii’s Timmy Chang in check until late in the game as the fourth-ranked Trojans beat the Warriors 61-32 .

AUSTIN, Texas – Matt Jones kept Arkansas rolling through the air and on the ground, making the Razorbacks’ return to Texas a huge success with a 38-28 victory over the No. 6 Longhorns.

BOULDER, Colo. – Sammy Moore caught a 74-yard touchdown pass and returned a kickoff 97 yards for a score as Washington State used big plays to beat No. 17 Colorado 47-26.

LINCOLN, Neb. – Josh Davis ran for a career-high 179 yards and Jammal Lord added 100 as No. 18 Nebraska beat Penn State 18-10.

The Cornhuskers (3-0) ran on all but six of their plays from scrimmage, piling up 337 yards on the ground. David Dyches kicked four field goals for the second straight game.

Nebraska ran the ball on 16 straight plays and scored the go-ahead TD in the third quarter.
