NORWAY – The Norway Recreation Department will sponsor an After School Bowling Program starting Wednesday, Sept. 17, for 10 weeks. The cost is $10 and must be paid at registration. There will be a weekly fee of $3 to be paid at Oxford Hills Bowling Center each week. The fee includes shoe rental and all strings bowled. Bowlers in grades two to six are eligible.
A SAD 17 bus will pick up students at school and transport them to the bowling center. Parents must pick up their children there by 5 p.m.
Registration forms available at Guy E. Rowe Elementary School, the Oxford Hills Bowling Center and the Norway Town Office.

Adult classes
PARIS – Oxford Hills Adult Education is starting its second week of classes, but it’s not too late to sign up for vocational courses that start Wednesday, Sept. 17. Classes will be in accounting, computer Microsoft Word processing and welding.
In addition, there will be a class on stained glass. On Thursday, a course in Microsoft Office will be held and the Literacy Volunteers Orientation Session will help people decide if they want to volunteer to help adults learn to read.

Bridge results
NORWAY – Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge played a Mitchell Movement with seven full tables on Sept. 12.
North-South winners were: first, Eric and Marilyn Sahlberg; second place, Richard Balian and Elenor Griffin; and third, Nick Karamessinis and Jane Fournier.
East-West winners were: first, Mike Quinn and Fred Letourneau; second, Woodrow Mercier and Donna Swett; and third, Cynthia Bonsey and Eileen Potvin.
The group plays every at 9 a.m. Friday at the Fare Share Commons, Main Street. Bridge players are invited. A partner is not necessary.
