WILTON – The town’s Planning Board will consider one new application when it meets Thursday. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the Town Office.

Spencer Osgood wants to expand an office at his business on Route 2 in East Dixfield. Osgood runs R.S. Osgood & Sons, a new and used farm, lawn and garden equipment, parts, and service business started by his father, Roland Osgood, in 1930.

Planners will also continue their discussion of issues for the upcoming year. Those issues include taking information out of the zoning ordinance, which conflicts with a newly enacted subdivision ordinance; the possibility of increasing the number of hours Code Enforcement Officer Brenda Medcoff works to help her to better address a variety of violations in town; the enforcement of junkyard violations; and possible ordinance changes for setback requirements from the water in the downtown area.

Other issues include changes to the land use table, routes 2 and 4 access management, regulations for signs advertising brand-name products, shoreland expansions and cluster development.
