1910 – 2003
LEWISTON – Pauline I. DeAngelis DeBurra, 93, of 124 High St., Auburn, died Tuesday morning, Sept. 16, at Central Maine Medical Center surrounded by her family.
She was born in Stonington, Feb. 12, 1910, a daughter of Erminio and Carmela (Magno) DeAngelis. She was educated in Lewiston schools and remained a lifelong resident of this community.
She was married to Anthony H. DeBurra Sr. who died in May of 1993. She worked many years in local textile mills until her retirement in 1975. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church and in her free time she enjoyed crocheting and other various crafts.
She leaves a daughter, Carmella Murphy and husband Jim of Sabattus; a son, Anthony DeBurra Jr. and wife Kaye of Auburn; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a brother, Esterino DeAngelis; and a sister, Marie Rose DeAngelis.
