ORONO – Natasha Levandowski came off the bench and scored a pair of goals to lift the University of Maine to a 5-0 shutout over St. Bonaventure University in field hockey action Friday.
The Black Bears (5-1) poured on the offense early, tallying 19-5 in shots on goal and scoring three times before the half.
Katie Hodge, Emily Stevens and Heather Hathorn contributed goals for Maine.

ORONO – Brian York cracked a triple and scored a pair of runs to lead the University of Maine to a 5-2 win over the Central Maine Community College in men’s fall baseball action Friday evening.
The Black Bears (1-0) received offensive support from Ben Strout, who went 2-for-4 with a double.
The pitcher, Eric Swan, had a superb outing on the mound, fanning 12 to earn a win in Maine’s first game of the season.
Greg Hird paced the Mustangs (6-3) with a pair of hits and a run. Tom Mason tallied an RBI and scored a run, while Nate Olson clubbed a double for the Mustangs.
Corey Decker suffered the loss while giving up two earned runs for the Mustangs.
