LISBON – Lisbon’s Jon Charette punched in two goals toward the end of the second half to give Lisbon a 6-2 boys’ soccer victory over Jay Saturday afternoon.

The Greyhounds’ (1-4) Nate Osmond also scored two goals early in the first half. He was assisted by Jon Charette. Matt Smith and Jared church each scored as well.

The Tigers’ (0-5) Jake Turner and Travis Melchery each had a goal.

Geo. Valley 6, Dirigo 0

DIXFIELD – A.J. Staples slipped past a Dirigo stopper for a breakaway goal less than a minute into the game as Georges Valley cruised to a convincing 6-0 win over Dirigo in boys’ soccer Saturday.

Staples added a second goal and an assist while Dan Willey also added a pair of goals in the lopsided win.

Lysha Spreague and David Wilgus rounded out the scoring. Matt Judkins needed only two saves for the shutout.

Skowhegan 4, EL 1

SKOWHEGAN – Nolan Gagne booted a hat trick, including the game-winner, as Skowhegan handed Edward Little a 4-1 setback in KVAC soccer action Saturday.

Gagne’s game-winner came as he converted a feed from Ian Dowing at 12:58 of the first half.

Downing and Gagne iced the game for the Indians (2-4) in the second half as each deposited a goal in the back of the net.

Nate Guerette scored the Eddies’ (2-4) lone goal at 20:10 of the first half.

Monmouth 8, Liv. Falls 0

LIVERMORE FALLS – Monmouth’s Steven Wierder, Andy Bellmore and Brian Gardener each scored two goals early in the first half as the Mustangs rolled to an 8-0 victory over Livermore Falls.

The Mustangs’ (4-1) Gardener also had two assists for the day. Ryan Buckley and Mark Wade also scored for Monmouth

Andies goalie Andre Mercier stopped 12 of 25 shots on his net.

Mtn. Valley 4, Winthrop 2

WINTHROP – Mountain Valley’s Jeff Fuller accepted Pat Harry’s pass and drilled in the winning goal late in the second half to give the Falcons a 4-2 win over Winthrop.

Fuller also scored early in the game along with Pat Harris and Josh Burke.

Winthrop’s Dave Zimmerman and Dan Lemieux each had a goal.
