1944 – 2003

WATERFORD – Roger E. Murch, 59, of Waterford died Wednesday, Sept. 24, at his home.

He was born in Norway on May 10, 1944, the son of Ellsworth Francis and Mildred Millett Murch. He worked at Bridgton Knitting Mill for 30 years. He married Weda Eileen Fortier on Sept. 24, 1966. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and smelting.

He is survived by his wife of Waterford; two daughters, Cindy Foley and her husband Steven of Norway and Billie Johnson and her husband Jay of Auburn; a son, Richard Murch of Waterford; two grandchildren, Ashlee and Chris Murch both of Norway; four brothers, Rodney of Covina, Calif., James A. of Waterford, Edward and Glenn both of Harrison; two sisters, Geri of Covina, Calif., and Betty Verrill of Bryant Pond; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Lindsay Marie Johnson.
