1915 – 2003
LEWISTON – Alice Laliberte, 88, of 550 College Street, died Monday, Oct. 6, 2003, at Ste. Marguerite d’Youville Pavilion, after a short illness.
She was born in Lewiston, March 28, 1915, the daughter of Arthur and Celanire Gauthier Rioux. She was educated in Lewiston schools and was married Oct. 29, 1938, to Eloi A. Laliberte who predeceased her Feb. 19, 2001.
Prior to her retirement in 1972, she was employed at Advance Heel Company and was a member of Holy Cross Parish.
She is survived by two sons, Richard W. Laliberte and his wife, Eileen, of Oxford and Maurice A. Laliberte of North Truro, Mass.; three grandchildren, Richard Laliberte, Jr., Scott and David Laliberte; three great-grandchildren, Blake, Alexis and Camron Laliberte.
