1923 – 2003
LEWISTON – Emma M. “Nancy” Prudhomme, 80, of 24 Bushey Circle died Tuesday, Oct. 14, at Ste. Marguerite d’Youville Pavilion after a long illness.
She was born in Lisbon, July 24, 1923, the daughter of Henry and Odile Drapeau Dube. She was educated in Lewiston schools and was married April 18, 1953 to Davis J. Prudhomme.
Prior to her retirement she was employed at Belgrade Shoe, Koss Shoe and Falcon Shoe Companies. She was a member of Holy Family Parish. She enjoyed shopping and trips to Las Vegas. She loved children, especially her nieces and nephews. She had a special appreciation to her niece Sue Ruel and her husband Paul and her brother Gerry Dube and his wife Jackie who, along with her husband, helped care for her.
She is survived by her husband of Lewiston; a sister, Muriel Saucier of Auburn; a brother, Gerard Dube and his wife Jackie of Sabattus; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by four sisters; and three brothers.
