A fund-raising dance will be held Oct. 18.

LEWISTON – The board of directors announces a change in dates for the 12th annual Festival de Joie. In a previous announcement the dates given were Aug. 6, 7 and 8. The date have had to be changed.

The new dates are as follows: Prelude 2004, July 27, 28 and 29 and the festival, July 30, 31 and Aug. 1. Featured group will be La Tournee du Bonheure with Jean Guy Piche. Visit the festival at www.festivaldejoie.org for the latest updates.

The Festival de Joie will sponsor a fund-raising dance on Saturday, Oct. 18, at the Knights of Columbus Hall on East Avenue. Music will be provided by Sounds Galactic. A social hour from 6 to 7 p.m. will be followed by a ham dinner and dancing from 8 to 11 p.m.

Anyone interested in tickets at $25 a couple should call 782-6231. No tickets will be sold at the door.
