AUBURN – Miss Cecile I. Girardin, 82, formerly of the Esplanade Apartments at Great Falls Plaza, died early Sunday morning at Clover Manor Health Care Facility.
She was born in Lewiston, Nov. 20, 1920, a daughter of Arthur J. and Albertine (Houle) Girardin. She was educated in Lewiston schools, attended Acme Business College and remained a lifelong resident of this community.
Miss Girardin worked many years as a payroll clerk at Bates Mill until her retirement in 1982. She enjoyed reading in her free time and she was very family-oriented and will be deeply missed by family and friends.
She leaves three sisters, Lucy Prince of Auburn, Georgette Belanger and her husband, Bert, of Lewiston and Rita Culliton also of Lewiston; a brother, Marcel (Mike) Girardin and his wife, Muriel of Lewiston; a sister-in-law, Ida Girardin of Lewiston; a brother-in-law, Bill Berube of Rockport; several nieces and nephews and several grand-nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by six sisters and three brothers.
