1964 – 2003

MANCHESTER, N.H. – Michael P. DuBois, 39, of Merrimack, N.H., died Oct. 17, 2003, at Elliot Hospital after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Sanford on Jan. 20, 1964, the son of Nancy (Palmer) DuBois of Manchester, N.H. and the late Robert J. DuBois.

Michael received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from UMass Lowell and held a graduate certificate in Systems Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.

He was employed as a Systems Engineer at BAE SYSTEMS, Hudson, N.H, for 18 years. He was the recipient of several BAE SYSTEMS awards for both his technical leadership and his individual technical accomplishments, including the IDS Business Area Technical Leadership Award in 2000, and the BAE SYSTEMS (UK) Chairmen’s Silver Award for Innovation in 2002.

Michael was a devoted husband and father, an avid water skier and basketball player. Those who knew and loved him will remember him for his sense of humor, selflessness and perserverance.

Family members include his mother; his wife, Kimberley (Sutherland) DuBois; a son, Gergory S. DuBois; a daughter, Lauren E. DuBois; a brother, Steven G. DuBois of Manchester, N.H.; five sisters, Kathi A. DuBois of Belize, Lori J. DuBois of Santa Cruz, Calif., Patti L. DuBois-Spooner of Dunstable, Mass., Karen S. DuBois-Garofalo of Nottingham, N.H. and Sharon L. DuBois-Carney of Cotati, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
