PORTLAND – The Maine Chapter of the Association for Psychological Type is hosting a workshop on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 14 and 15, designed to help organization development consultants, coaches, counselors, human resources professionals and others to creatively and constructively use personality preference theory in their work.

Organization development expert Leona Haas will conduct the workshop. Haas said she’s coming coming to Maine “to make the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) relevant again for today’s organizations.” Based on insights gained in her own practice, she has constructed a new way of looking at the theory behind the MBTI that she says promises to revitalize its use.

The workshop runs from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the 14th, and from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the 15th at Portland’s Holiday Inn West. The fee for the workshop is $190, or $150 for MAPT members. To register, or for more information 773-9235.
