ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Robert H. Latham, 81, formerly of Lewiston, died Sunday, Nov. 2, at the Bayfront Medical Center following surgery.
He was born in Lewiston and served in the European Theater with the Army during World War II. He was employed as superintendent for Bates Textile Manufacturing in Lewiston for 42 years and was an avid bowler with the mill’s bowling league. He retired to Largo in 1982.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Anna of Largo; four daughters, Barbara Plummer of Tierre Verde, Nancy Brock of Konowa, Okla, Geraldine Cyr of Merrimack, NH, and Betty Blalock of Ada, Okla.; one son, David Latham of Weare, NH; 14 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
