1928 – 2003
LEWISTON – Yvette T. Laberge, 75, of 10 Oak St., Lewiston, died Wednesday, Nov. 5, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
Born in Lewiston, Sept. 14, 1928, the daughter of Alfred and Blanche Lavigne Comeau, she was educated in local schools.
She was employed as a stitcher by Knapp Shoe for many years and then worked in the laundry of St. Mary’s Hospital.
She loved to travel and enjoyed knitting hats and mittens for charity, but her greatest joy in life came from time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include a son, David of Litchfield; two daughters, Dorothy Kazimer of Auburn and Therese and husband, Warren LaBonte of Nashua, N.H.; an adopted sister, Phyllis and husband, Jack Morrissey of New Gloucester; four grandchildren, Laura and husband, Robert Lane, Jennifer Hart, Kristy Clark and Samantha Therriault; and six great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Marc on July 4, 1983.
