JAY – Daughters of Isabella held a social supper Oct. 22 at the Parish Hall. Members were greeted by the supper committee, most of whom, were dressed in original Halloween costumes.

Tables were decorated with black and orange place mats and each had a paper bag with painted Halloween designs and candy treats inside. Each table had a Halloween designed bag with a balloon attached to it and a door prize inside.

The following members won door prizes: Louise Chabot, Marie White, Irene Castonguay, Veronica Blanchard, Evelyn Chabot, Jackie Castonguay and Clemance Moreau.

The supper committee was chaired by Betty Plaisted and Pat Knowlton. Others serving on the committee were Jackie Mercier, Anita Couture, Lorraine Cote, Pauline Brochu, Erin Morrell, Pauline Marceau, Gail Cormier and Maryette, Laurianne and Elaine Castonguay.

All are invited to a Mass for deceased members to be held at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12m at St. Rose Church with the November social to follow at the parish hall. There will be a Chinese auction after the social to benefit the Maine Right to Life.

A business meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, in the Parish Hall.
