1934 – 2003

LEWISTON – Richard Jordan, 69, of Poland died Tuesday, Dec. 2, at Central Maine Medical Center.

He was born in Lewiston on Oct. 8, 1934, the son of Samual and Bernice Coffin Jordan. He was educated in Poland schools and had been road foreman for the Town of Poland Highway Dept. for many years, retiring in 1979. He was a member of the D.A.V.

He is survived by two daughters, Linda Winslow and her husband Robert of Poland and Karen Baron and her husband Mark of Rockland; a son, Richard Jordan and his wife Sonia of Poland; a sister, Patti Gagne and her husband Ron of Poland; a brother, Reginald “Bud” and his wife Barbara of Poland; four grandchildren, Hope Robbins and her husband Roger of Poland, Jessica Baron of Rockland, Shane Edwards of Auburn and Derick Jordan of Poland; two great-grandchildren, Jacob Winslow of Poland and Hunter Robbins of Poland.
