1924-2003

RIPLEY – Eva M. Morin, 79, died Dec. 28, at her home in Ripley.

Born in Dexter, Nov. 23, 1924, the daughter of Albert and Pauline (LaChance) Folsom, she was a communicant of St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Dexter.

She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W. She worked as a CNA in home health care for many years. After her retirement she enjoyed crafts and especially enjoyed Beano.

Survivors include three children, Lorrie Morin of Lewiston, Allen Morin of Lewiston and David Morin of Togus; four grandchildren, Tammy and April of Lewiston, Travis Tripp now serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. in North Carolina and Casey Tripp of Sumner; four great-grandchildren, Aleasha, Tamara, Robby and Shelby, all of Lewiston; several nieces and nephews; and two sisters, Barbara Spizuoco of Dexter and Rita Bates of Dover-Foxcroft.

She was predeceased by her husband, John C. Morin in 2000, a son, Michael Morin in 1962 and a brother, Linwood Folsom.
