1928 – 2004
LEWISTON – Therese L. Dumond, 75, of 8 Jack Court, Lewiston, died Sunday, Jan. 11, at Central Maine Medical Center following a long illness.
She was born in Lewiston on May 25, 1928, the daughter of John and Matilda (Lafrance) Turcotte and had been a resident of this community all her life.
She was employed by Hannaford’s in the Deli Department for 15 years until her retirement in 1991.
She was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Church and St. Anne’s Sodality.
She is survived by her husband, Aldeo Dumond whom she married on Aug. 20, 1949; two sons, Robert Dumond and his wife Julie of Livermore and Michael Dumond and his wife Debbie of Pensacola, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Edgar Lorraine Belanger and Sister Renee Turcotte both of Lewiston; a brother, Gerard Turcotte of Lewiston; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Florence Morin, and Laurette Buteau; and a brother, Roger Turcotte.
