1937 – 2004
NORWAY – Floyd E. Currier, 66, of Norway died Tuesday, Jan. 13, at Stephens Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Chesterville on April 2, 1937, the son of Charles M. and Ethel Lothrop Currier. He attended schools in Chesterville and Norway. He was employed at Wilner Wood Products for 22 years.
He then worked as a mechanic at ABC Rubbish. He was a member of the I.O.O.F. in Norway. In his younger years he attended Norway Baptist Church. He enjoyed dancing, hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, the former Caroline Libby of Norway; a daughter, Nancy Duplisea and her husband Todd of Norway; two grandchildren, Jessica and Jeffrey Duplisea both of Norway; three sisters, Mae Wood of Stafford Springs, Conn., Altene Edwards and her friend David Barker of Norway and Marie Millett and her husband Charles of Norway; two brothers, Eugene Currier of Norway and Bernard Currier and his wife Mary of Southwood, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a son, Wayne; a brother, Nathaniel O. Dudley; and a sister, Elsie Day.
