LISBON FALLS – Lisbon Adult Education announces that openings still exist in classes starting in February and March.

An Introduction to Microsoft Office class will begin Tuesday, Feb. 24. The class will meet from 6 to 8:30 p.m. for eight weeks. A 10-week Microsoft Word class will start Monday, March 15. The class will meet from 6 to 8 p.m.. A Computer Trouble Shooting class will run for four weeks from 4 to 6 p.m. starting Monday, Feb. 9.

Interested individuals are encouraged to take substitute teaching, which will start Tuesday, March 2. The class will run for six weeks from 2:45 to 5 p.m. A Medical Terminology II class will start Tuesday, March 3. The class will meets for seven weeks from 6 to 9 p.m.

Openings still exist in Beginning and Continuing Yoga classes, which will start on Tuesday, March 2. A Beginning Swing Dance class will begin Thursday, March 4, in Durham and meet from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. There will be a family Valentine workshop from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11. Children can attend free.

Two classes will be offered in the traditional folkart of Ukrainian egg decorating. A beginners’ class will meet from 6 to 9 p.m. March 17. The registration deadline is March 1. A pysanka workshop will be held for two weeks starting March 24 for people who have taken the beginner class or who have experience with pysanka techniques.

An eight-week quilting class will start on Feb. 10. The class will meet from 6 to 8:30 p.m. An American Red Cross baby-sitting class will start Wednesday, March 3, and run for five weeks. A seven-week Beginning American Sign Language class will start Thursday, Feb. 12.

Learn basic plumbing, construction and electrical repairs in a basic home repair class, which will start Wednesday, March 3, and run for eight weeks. Learn to write a life story in a class starting Wednesday, March 17, called “Crafting Your Own Memoirs.” The class will meet from 4 to 6 p.m. for eight weeks.
